Fluorite is a soft gemstone. It comes in various colors including green, blue, yellow, white and sometimes a raspberry color but it is best known as a purple gemstone. It is quite unique in the way it breaks along cleavage points into a perfect octahedron and for being sometimes banded with different colors.

Lava stone formed during a volcanic eruption. The eruption placed molten rock onto the earth's surface, which then cooled and solidified over time. The unique divots and air pockets through the stone are indications of its volcanic origin, and today, this stone is most often cultivated and used during meditation as an essential oil diffuser.
