Citrine Druze Cluster Heart On Stand
Citrine is a semi-precious gemstone. It is best described as a beautiful yellow transparent gemstone. It is a form of yellow quartz; although it very often resembles a yellow topaz. Yellow clear quartz is called citrine, purple quartz is called amethyst. Sometimes these two colours will appear together, the combination citrine and amethyst stones are called ametrines. Citrine and ametrine are fairly hard stones; they measure 7 hardness on the Moh’s scale.
Druse is a term that refers to any rock formation where an irregular cavity allows well-formed tiny crystal structures such as quartz, feldspar or other mineral crystals to grow. These cavities give tiny crystals a place to form over millions of years. The end result is a triumph of Mother Nature called drusy or druzy.
Druse or drusy (druzy) can be found world wide, but they are more commonly associated with agates and various types of quartzes.
Citrine heart is detachable, and may be removed from stand.
